Shorts

Our cinematic lab for bold, personal work.

Unfunded, uncensored, and uncompromising, our short films are where we explore new ideas, refine our voice, and stay sharp between client work.

A Pebble in the Machine of Dreams

Can one man take on The Corporation? In the war of corporate feudalism, pranks are rifles.

This short film was created with traditional and AI tools. I used Nano Banana, Veo, MidJourney and ChatGPT for visuals, ElevenLabs for audio. The voice acting is all real humans.

Music Video: The Master’s Tools

To try out ElevenLabs' new music generator, I created this track. I used Music to create a bed, Text-to-Voice for samples, Voice Changer for vox, and SFX for additional percussion.

Video came from MidJourney, Luma, Runway, Veo and Dreamina. Textures were shot on my phone.

Short Film: Calling Andy

This short film is a comedy inspired by late friend and colleague, John Walsh. Three middle-aged friends smoke a magic drug that lets them talk to their dead friend, Andy, who has something to say to each of them.

Calling Andy won BEST OF THE FESTIVAL at the Hollywood Screenings Film Festival

Short Film: A Gift to the Living

This short film is the story of a young woman who tries to come out of the closet to her religious grandfather. This was shot in one day in Altadena with a minuscule budget.

A Gift to the Living was a Finalist at the Washington DC International Film Festival.

Pilot: Rumpus Room

We made this pilot using hand-made sock puppets and furniture. We believe that in an increasingly artificial media world, hand-crafted filmmaking is a welcome respite.

Exercise: Magic

This stop-motion short was an experiment aimed at putting smiles on faces.
